I haven't played it in about a month and a half. I think it said I am 22% through and I remember it being basically the same missions over and over again. Go get a mission, drive all the way across the map to blow something up or kill someone, go across the map again to get another mission.
I was just wondering if it has the same missions all the way through and is it worth finishing?
same missions all the way through
about half way through you get taken to a new map though...kinda cool.
its the kind of game where you need to put a lot of time into it.
Finish? You're lucky if you even get halfway through the game without uninstalling it.
I've played that game for 5 hours. That game sucked so much dick. There was too much driving around in that game. It was so boring. The missions are boring. The map pisses me off especially when you have to go hunting for that diamond.
I don't think that game is even worth playing.
Eww a Far Cry 2 thread.
the game gets so repeatative, it aint even funy.
i beat it in like 25hours tho.
I got to like 15%. I consider that I have completed all that there was to do.
I gave up after about 2 hours. That game was so repetitive it made me cry
Thanks guys. I was wondering if I was the only one that thought those missions were getting boring...
I finished it. It was a complete waste of 20 hours and $59.99. I had pretty much the same reaction as everyone else here, boring as hell. Even on the hardest setting, the fuckers were easy. It would be fun for awhile, then boring, then you'd get the MGL and have a little fun, then that would get boring, then you'd get the silenced Makarov and MP5 and have a little fun, then get bored again, then you'd get the USAS-12, and so on. Maybe 2 hours of fun spread out in minutes, with 18 hours of amusing boredom in between.
I was hoping the story would be worth a goddamn, but nope, no story here. I wanted the factions to constantly be at battle, random battle across the land as you drove by, burning down entire sections of the jungles, villages and grasslands. I wanted bullets randomly zipping out of the endless dark bushes and beating on the edge of your vehicle, leaving you wondering where the fuck that came from, only to find two platoons, or even companies, of men working together to each other. I wanted to be chased through the desert in pitch black night to hell and back, not just one truck of two guys just driving fast behind me.
Installed it, played it for 2 hours, got Low FPS and PC gave me BSOD, uninstalled it.
> Anyone finished the game?
Who hasnt.. The game last for like 10 hours
I like going around sniping like a bitch, but those annoying cars that suddenly pops up behind you.. Are..fucking...annoyiong
>Who hasn't?
Apparently, most of the users in this thread.
played for 6 hours and got bored of it.
map editors kinda fun.. to bad the multiplayer sucks.
68%
done
lol had it ages and still not even close, its kinda repetetive :/
dont get me started
i played it for maybe 3 hours. just exploring you know sniping and shit. i go into a hut find the golden ak47 tht is supposed to be unbreakable. because it was tht easy to find i quit playing..... forever. so gay. freaking hated the game play.
to me this game is a "play it when i just want to run around and shoot people when i have nothing better to do" game. and no, i didnt finish it. i was wondering if the story with the jackal ever goes anywhere, i mean you do jobs for those people, finding the reporters tapes and stuff, im assuming taking him out is the final mission or something.
lol no, the twist at the end is actually really dumb i thought, by the time i got close to the end, i was just praying for it to be all over
I completed it, am I the only person that kinda enjoyed it? =P
Albeit it was annoying that guards were always the posts, but if I had to go to the otherside of the map or something, I just took a bus there. Buying all the weapons was pretty cool at first; then I completed it. Too short imo; and the gun shipment missions and constant guard posts were a bit repetitive.. otherwise a pretty good game.
