Has anyone ever gotten banned from Rainbow Six Siege (or any other Battleye game) because of running Windows in a vm?

So a lot of us here use Linux as the host and Windows 10 as the guest and passthrough the GPU (among other things) to the guest. By doing this has anyone ever gotten banned from Rainbow Six siege? Or any other Battleye game? Also, anyone got banned for using Looking Glass?

P.S. this is my first time posting. Sorry if this post is in the wrong category.

I believe @Wendell played PUBG on KVM fine at a point.

However, Battleye does ban the use of ESXi and VMware.

running windows in a VM… with hax or without? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been playing PUBG on a QEMU/KVM VM for a while now without issue.

Just hide the kvm status and so far knock on wood it’s fine

Ye, my main concern is the Battleye from Rainbow Six Siege. I heard it’s ‘superior’ to the other Battleye implementations out there.

Does basically mean that the guest OS won’t know that it’s in a vm? I know that people use that feature to bypass nvidia drivers, but it will work with AMD, right?
