i tried to passthrough a gpu one year ago and failed. I have a Ryzen 1600 with a Asus Prime B350-PLUS Mainboard. I used a Sapphire Radeon HD6450 Graphiccard. If I remember correctly it was not possible to blacklist the drivers and have the host not load them for my GTX 960.
If I were to buy new Hardware, which do you recommend I get, so I can give it another try. Can I use the GTX960 for my Host and buy another AMD GPU for the Windows VM? What do you recommend?
