So today my Harddrive decided to take a shit and I am going to pick another one up tomorrow but im worried i wont be able to install windows because i lost the keycode...
I have the disk But no code.

question is will i be able to install windows with the disk and no code?
i am still going to be using the same motherboard cpu.. etc
You need the key to re install windows.
Either way you're gonna need the key at some stage champ.
Is the disk bootable and can live at least 10mins? If so run a live linux distro and recover the key.
I was told by a genuine Microsoft Teck a while ago, that is you call them during the install (and they can prove you have a genuine copy of windows) that will issue you with another code... you could give that a try
