I am setting up a new SSD and backup drive and automatically went to use Disk Management which comes with windows...My question is whether 3rd party disk management software such as Paragon Manager is really better and worth the money. How do these programs really preform better at simple tasks such as partitioning, and disk management.

They are very good at what they do. I really like Paragon's stuff. As for being worth the money. Depends on how much use you will get out of it. Will you be using it regularly? Grab a trail version and see if you like it.
What quarrels are you having with disk manager? I've always found it really easy to use and well enough to do anything I've ever needed to do with it.
Thnaks for the advice, Il give the free trial a go... I just need it for configuring some drives, nothing special but dont want bad preformance by just using stock software, thanks for the help.
