This is my Razer Deathadder 3.5G. I bought it at some point in 2012, making it about 2 years old. It has barely skipped a day and probably has more than 20,000hrs on-time. Apparently Razer products are no longer any good and break within a year, so I must have bought one of the last quality Razer products. It has certainly seen better days, it's quite dirty as you can see and I can feel it starting to become more and more inaccurate (or maybe it's me that's inaccurate). Soon I will have to replace it, but until then I will use it every day.
Max Screen Resolution: 1920×1200 Full HD 1080P Contrast Ratio: 1000:1 Image Brightness: 400 cd/m² (Typical) Price: $470.00 ($389.00 on Amazon ) Link:Gateway Computers
Has served me well still, they dont even make screen's in that size anymore ever since people went 1080p crazy. i was doing 1200 before 1080p was a thing :p
I have a couple of things that have lasted me a while. (To me if they last at least a year they were worth it).
First my Logitech g300. For $30 it has to one of the cheapest and best mice out. It has never skipped a beat and has been working perfectly for over a year now. It has got a bit of wear in the grip but that was all my fault from trying to scratch something out of the grip.
I know a lot of you will probably disagree with turtle beaches being good build quality, but my set of turtle beaches have lasted me at least 2.5 years and still not broken yet. Although i would not recommend these headsets because i know there is a lot of different headsets that you can get for cheap and would be better sound quality.
My Turtlebeack x11s. Bought them 3 years ago to use for my 360. I used them an unbelievable amount and they are still here with me today getting close to 4 years actually. The mic no longer works, the headband is all cracked but they are treasured, Although I have a new headset I do still use them occasionally if my headphones end up needing charged while I still need them.
Logitech G400 that I bought in 2012. I can't imagine a better mouse for myself, and it only cost me 30 euros at the time (now you can't find G400 or G400s cheaper than 50).
My DeathAdder identical to the OP definitely goes to the hall of fame. This thing has been through countless competitive CS matches and and even more BF3 CEVO matches. This thing is a trooper. My BlackWidow however has been a piece of utter ass.
Also my Blue Snowball. This thing is almost 3 years old and it just works absolutely flawlessly. Really solid build quality too.
My Genius KB-06E keyboard. This thing is really comfortable due to the huge wrist rest and has lasted me a year so far. That may not sound much however, it's the first time i've ever had a keyboard last more than four months without me wearing out some of the more commonly used keys completely.
This was the "rival" to the Deathadder when I was deciding what to buy. I think when my Deathadder dies I will buy a Logitech mouse due to the crazy build quality and warranty they apparently produce
I would like to thank, my mouse (Logitech G400s,) My headsets (Sennheiser PC 350) my mousepad and my cheap rubber dome alienware keyboard for guiding me in my journey of awesomeness this past year as I transcended into the realm of PC gaming.
