there have unfortunately already been updates to most of those articles featuring a response from a valve rep saying they have no plans to reveal any games.
Damn well they should do a hl3 arrg
they just like messing with their fans. by doing so, they guarantee an immense amount of hype/sales when the day comes they do release the game. that's alright, it's leaving me plenty of time to play the episodes (i've beaten the main HL2 game and only played some of the original HL - was hoping Black Mesa Source would come out eventually to get my HL 1 fix).
Yea im on the steam forums alot sence like 2004 got couple thousand post there. I follow all hl3 storys rumors. And any info on that game. hl was the greatest game ever and will always will be to me. I think by christmas time valve will say something about it. they should have done dota hl3 and cs go all in another box like the black box or something :). But for real VALVE IS TROLLING THE HOLE WORLD.
Which Valve games came after HL2: Ep2? L4D, L4D2, Portal 2, CS:GO, DOD:S, DOTA2, Alien Swarm, and a shit-ton of TF2 context. And now they are taking Steam to a whole new level. Not a single peep about HL2: Ep3 at all.
They are good at keeping secrets.

Where talking about VALVE i didint think hl2 would ever be as good as the first but i think it is. living up to hype lol duke nukem forever sucked and not because of being over hyped it just simply was shit. hl3 will have haters everygame dose.
DNF was good. Not great, but good. Most certainly not shit.

But on a serious note, why have we been seeing hints of HL3 all over the place this year? there must be a purpose for it, even Gabe doing his cameo forging a crowbar.
I imagine Gabe showing unannounced while standing at the podium "accidentally" finds a Crowbar behind it, afterwards HL3 trailer will start to play behind him.
I never listen to any rumors unless something is said straight from a dev's mouth. Just a waste of time and energy otherwise. Not to mention it's a big let down when you let rumors excite you, just to find out they were false.
Then I'm not gonna watch it. Nothing is going to spoil HL3 for me.
I did not know anything about Mass Effect 2s introduction, and after I got through it... the feeling I had was... indescribable. Later I watched some trailers, gameplay videos, tips and tricks for ME2, and bloody hell if Bioware spoiled the epic intro in the freaking official game trailer. Tards. I'm so glad I never watched those trailers. Would have spoiled one of the best moments in gaming history.
Anyways, NOTHING IS GOING TO SPOIL ANYTHING OF HL3 FOR ME!
Let them take their time, be patient. Hell, it took nearly 8 years for Bioshock to be made, and look what that game became.
Ive been waiting forever so when im told it not officail or fake its nothing new to me but damn i cant wait ill pre order the 180.00 collecters edition if there is one lol.
