Hackintosh hardware compatibility

Hey guys,
I'm currently rocking a Gigabyte EP43T-S3L with a Core 2 Quad Q6600, 4 GB DDR3 1600 memory and a Windforce GTX 770 with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM.

I've always had an interest in installing and messing around with different operating systems but the one I've never had the chance to mess with is OSX. Though I've known for hackintoshes, I've never tried to install OSX. So my question is: Is my hardware capable of running OSX and if not, what changes do I have to make ?

You might want to check here: http://www.tonymacx86.com and http://www.hackintosh.com (edit: railstop was faster). There appear to be some threads for this or similar motherboards when you search the tonymacx86 site.

Just get a new cpu and motherboard.

You are LONGGGGGGGGGGGG overdue for one anyways.
