Got my NZXT H440http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/143-h440-performance-mid-tower.html in and am ready to do a transplant, looking for some advice. I have the Kraken x60 for my CPU cooling, no liquid cooling for my GPUs.
I am thinking of installing the x60 in the front with push pull for cpu cooling. Reversing the rear exhuast to perform as intake (with a filter), and throwing 3 120mm's on the top as exhaust.
Any thoughts on a downside to this as opposed to the standard having the x60 up top as exhaust? The lack of hard drive bays will as of now not be a problem.
Thank you for any input
Post to put it on recent comments on front page.
isn it alot easier, just to install the X60 in the top? it would also be the best way in my opinnion.
because if you put the radiator in the front cool air will be sucked in trough the radiator, and there the air will be warmed up blowing in the case, i suppose this would give you a negative effect on the inside temp of the case.
i would put 2 intake fans in the front, 1 exhaust in the back. If you dont use an optical drive, you could also put 3 fans in the front. You get alot of positive air pressure in the case if you just put intake fans in the front. and 1 exhaust in the back. alot of cool air flows into the case from the front , it can be exhaust trough the back and the X60 radiator,if you install the X60 with push fans on the inside of the case, this will also be alot better for dust.

This is a very unique case in so far as it has no optical drive slots at all. Thanks for responding, I was kinda worried of the warm air coming through the front, thought the rear exhaust as intake would help that out.
I thought positive air pressure was a good thing though, keeps dust out.
well if you put the radiator in front as intake and also the back fan as an intake, you generate 2 diffrent airflows diffrent directions, i think that would not be ideal,
i would like i said put 3 fans in the front 1 rear exhaust, and the X60 on top. with push fans blowing air out. or install the fans ontop of the radiator to pull air out, that is something you have to dicide your self. both ways would be the same. maybe using the fans ontop of the radiator as pull could be easier to clean to X60 rad, from the inside, cause dust will not be getting underneath the fans!!
