Sorry in advanced for anything I do not know, I am a scrub when it comes to watercooling. Is there any way to use the H100 Cooling block/pump with a custom watercooling loop, so i can also cool my graphics card rather than just my CPU?
You wouldn't want an H100 at all then if you'd like to cool your grahpics card as well. A closed loop like the H100 is pre-set and shouldn't really be " customized ". I don't know much about custom water cooling but I can tell you that you do need to go with custom if you'd like to cool both your CPU and GPU. Good luck!
Look up "The Mod."
You most certainly can - you will need a res of some sort unless you fill a tub with d-min water and will the entire loop and seal it in there. A single h100 radiator will be shite for cooling both a cpu and gpu. Will need at least another 120 or 240 rad. The crappy pumps they use wont last long either when going through more block and rads.
In all honesty its better just to sell the h100 and grab the gear needed for a custom loop. 10x better...
Thanks for the advice, just curious how much would a custom loop cost?
Also another question, would it be cheaper to just get 2 loops going at the same time (h100 for cpu and Custom loop for gpu)?
If you're going to put together a custom loop, go ahead and throw the CPU in it.
It should cost $500 for a lower-end/decent CPU-GPU loop. Subtract $100 or so for a GPU only loop.
ty for the response. Also another question, how big should the radiator I use be? should I use the raditor from the h100 and also buy another one to increase the amount of cooling?
Don't put the H100i in a custom loop; the pump is far too weak.
However, you want about a 120mm radiator per part, plus 120mm more for breathing room. so, a GPU and CPU should be fine with a 360mm radiator (or 240 and a 120), and so on.
