I have been trying to get into Bitcoin mining and followed some of the tutorial here

Bitcoin wallet and Guiminer opened and were working but i decided to let the wallet sync so i closed GUIminer and waited, fast forward one day and now GUIminer will not open, it's kinda invisible and wont do anything...
Any help!
BTW-I have tried deleting GUIminer and re downloading several times still nothing!
