I've always thought that $150 collector's edition of games are a ludicrous thing. But I'm considering getting one for the first time ever. I just like Guild Wars that much. Is anyone else getting the game on day 1?
I already pre-ordered it. So far, all of the previews on websites have only positive things to say about the game. I hope to have lots and lots of free time when this gets released.
I've only played the first guild wars for a little bit, I wasn't that big into it but someone told me I was stuck at some 'pre-destruction' point(?) which is probably why the game didn't ring well with me. I've been watching videos and the developement of everything in GW2 and it does really excite me. I don't know if I'll get it on launch day but I will be getting it.
Well, maybe not the collectors edition, but damn that model looks badass.
Pre-searing is part of the story of the game which would pretty much be the starting area. After that, the story develops more, you get more spells for your character and get to compete with other people in pvp. I'd say go over that part so that you can experience Guild Wars 1 completely. And if possible, finish the Eye of the North expansion since it explains some things for GW2.
