It's actually for those people who can't take up the noise or power or doesn't want to build a gaming rig. I'm pretty sure there is a switch that allows you to go integrated with some sort of power conservative mobile GPU from this. BTW, no one would be "gaming-on-the-go". It'll be pointless.

The GTX 480 really means that there will not be a mobile GPU that is faster than it. Which Nvidia cannot make a faster one. The mobility 5870 only has 800 cores, it's cut in half. Nvidia's will destroy it.

I've always wondered why companies dont just make laptops a bit bigger and put sall exhaust fans on the side since you typically set laptops on a surface while using them. Also I imagine the battery life on a laptop with a GTX480M is probablly only like an hour fully charged.
