Gtx 780 vs sli gtx 760`s

Well actually a 7970 isn't a bad idea, the sapphire version is only 320 bucks on newegg.

After allot of worrying, i came up with two options. Any input would be much appreciated. Oh and i have ruled out a titan.

(Ignore the fact that i didnt take the never settle out of the nvidia option.)

Oh, is it worth getting a GD-65 motherboard even though im only doing a 4.4 ghz overclock on my cpu? Should i just get the GD-45 instead?

Thanks!

They're basically the same mobo. The gd65 has a higher power phase and more sata ports, apparently. You will be fine with your overclocking needs. 4.4 won't require the gd65. You would have to have some serious cooling to push the Haswell platform beyond that level of clock, anyway. My chip runs quite hot under a 12dx that I don't push it past 4.2-4.4, just to be safe. I need a custom cooling loop for my Haswell build.

The 7970 and 770 are pretty much neck and neck, trading blows over different games. I happen to think that the 7970 is out in front in most games. If you can find it with the Never Settle bundle, that is unbelievably good value. I'd get the 7970

Ok, thanks. I wasnt sure if i needed the extra power phases (I had no need for the extra sata ports.). Yes, i can get a 7970 with the never settle bundle, NCIX still offers it. I have one last build comparison though. (Sorry for asking so many questions, I have a hard time making up my mind.)

If i go with the gtx 780 i would be buying a SSD in maybe 2 weeks tops.
