Quick question, does anyone have an idea of when the price may drop on this beast, because I don't mind waiting a month or two in order to start building my pc. If so, how much will the price drop per month approximately?

Prices on video cards and such don't drop any regular amount per month. Nvidia charges what they can get away with.
That means it's staying right where it is until either a new top-tier card comes out, or Mantle makes AMD cards too much faster in too many big name games.
Oh ok thanks for the feedback, and I read recently that the 800 series may come out in Q1 of 2014 is that possible?
If that were the case, I doubt they would have even bothered with the 780ti, which just came out a week ago.
It'll probably be at least Q3, if not Q4.
I heard that the 800 series could emerge in Q2. Which would fit their scheduled release. Q3 at the latest. The 700 series launched around Q2 in the past year.
I would just grab a 780, or even a 290.
Oh ok yeah Q2 seems more realistic considering it came out last week( I didn't know that lol). Alright well I'll be checking the prices in a month or two but yeah definitely building a rig after the holidays. Thanks again for the quick responses.
