Gtx 780 stutter problems

I'm wondering if anyone else owns a gtx 780 could tell me if they notice micro stuttering in almost all games they play? Cause I just built a computer and everything is running fine except for when I play games I'm getting micro stuttering in almost everything, like even old games like duke nukem 3d, or roms... And I watched the FPS for those games and they're staying at 60 fps.
I'm wondering if this is a driver issue or I have a defected gpu or something. It's a asus gtx 780, just standard reference one, not oc or anything.
Got latest drivers the beta one, so If anyone is actually using this gpu with that driver and notices this problem with the games they play, would like to know.

Try different drivers.

Doesn't help. like everything works fine, no bsod, or crashes or anything. Can play games on highest settings for most part at 60 fps but there's always this little annoying and subtle yet noticeable stutter every now and then.
Like i'm playing duke nukem 3d at the moment and even with that game you'd think a $700 gpu would play duke nukem 3d flawlessly. But no. Is it somehow defected? Too late to send it back to retailer I bought it from, but I guess it still got warranty from manufacturer which is asus.
Do you own a 780? do you notice this stutter that you can't fix? anybody? some confirmation from other owners would be nice.

what does fraps say?

- Open Nvidia driver

- Go to 3d settings

- Scroll all the way down

- set Vsync to adaptable

Had the same problem with my GTX680, also this is not a driver issue. I guess your screen can only handle 60 Hz which is "basicly" the same as 60 FPS, your screen can not show anything above 60 FPS due to this.

Vsync makes sure that your graphics card isn't delivering more than 60 FPS to your screen, just go to wikipedia and look for Vsync if you want to know more about that topic.

thanks for the fix, i was having the same problem

Ok i don't know if you're still having the problem, but with my GTX 780 the problem was that for some reason it can't handle both the audio and the video going through (i am using a hdmi cable). So what I did was to right click the desktop and click on the nvidia control panel, then go to the option "Set up digital audio" and click on whatever cable you are using (for me it's hdmi) and then i click the drop down menu and select "Turn off Audio". Granted this will turn off your audio and mute the computer, so as a temporary check that it's fixed just plug some headphones into the back of your computer (the green plug). This seemed to magically fix it for me. I hope this helps.
