I'm buying a gtx 7704 gb, should I buy the Gigabyte version or Asus?
almost every manufacturer has a 4gb version of the 770, just get the one you trust most, looks the coolest or is the cheapest. They are going to perform pretty much in the same way.
Both offer 3 years warranty, the GB model has a higher clock speed out of the box. Here in oz the GB one is $20 cheaper.
Entirely up to you though. maybe choose what will match the rest of your build the best.
There is also the issue of 4gb of memory being a waste unless you are running at high resolutions. 2gb cards will suffice even @ 1440.
Which ever is cheaper. I have the 4gb gigabyte version and I love it. It never has gotten over 67c at load (with my below average ambient temp at about 17c).
I currently have the gb 7950. BUt lately I've been having driver issues. Not sure if is Amd or Gigabyte. I heard from plenty of people Asus having better drivers.
