Is the GTX 770 worth the extra money or should i buy a GTX 760 and get another one later? Thanks.
I would advocate purchasing a single high-end card. Dual GPUs can be problematic, and they require more power. Grab the 770, it has plenty of performance.

Some games don't use SLI, so they would only use 1 of the video cards.
Get the 770, but overclock it. With a good overclock, it will offer close to the performance of a GTX titan when it comes to gaming. (make sure you get one with a non reference cooler)
I had this exact same question, 2 months ago :P The answer is GTX 770! When I was thinking about getting a GTX 760 i relised the Superclocked gives + 5-10% FPS. I was thinking about SLI, but in the end SLI will not be as good as having a more powerful single GPU which can have SLI also later on * providing do don't buy another better single GPU again*. All in all i just bought the GTX 770 SC and after watching benchmarks its going to be WELL worth it now and in the future!
get an EVGA 770 SC 2GB, overclock it a bit thats what i have, great preformace, most games ultra 1080p 45-60FPS
Go with the single 770, its got more than enough power to play almost everything at max settings plus you can always get another one to do SLI when its time to upgrade.
