Hey everyone,
I am soon wanting to embark on the KVM passthrough journey.
I have a GTX 1070 atm, i7 4930k so I am ready on that front.
I just want to make sure: would a GTX 750 be compatible with a KVM passthrough setup with Linux as the host? I'm not finding concrete info on UEFI, but surely it would, it's not 'that' old of a card.
Thanks everyone.
I can confirm the GTX 750 TI worked for me. The GTX 750 should also work.
Great, thanks man.
How's the overall experience for you, if you're still using passthrough in your setup? Past the initial setup and headaches, has it been nice?
I just bought and installed a GTX 710 this week, as it has all the Io I need and a small form factor. It works as both a host card. As passthrough card for bios, and uefi KVM guests. The 750 should the same or better with no kinks. That was the first generation of cards to be 100% uefi compatible.
Good luck, have fun.

I have been running it since spring 2015. Overall it was a worthwhile experiment with lasting results. I recently upgraded to GTX 1050 TI's. I had some issues due to building 2 VM's with passthrough, one for my wife and one for me. Networking and Sound were the two headaches that gave me the most difficulty. Sound due to splitting her audio from the host and my VM. Networking also was a little tricky with 2 VM's and using wireless.
Edit: I would not recommend doing 2 VM's unless you want to do more tech support for the second than gaming. I plan on converting my wife's VM to a physical box in the near future.
Basically, the Windows VM will be for some games and I have to use Office 2016 for some college classes. That's it, Linux for everything else.
Thanks for your thoughts.
