Hello! So, getting to the topic. I am planning to get an Acer desktop PC with a 300w PSU which I am not sure has a PCI connector. So would the NON-SC Gtx 750/750 ti be able to work solely on the PCI express connector? If so, does anyone know if the expansion brackets are removable?

The 750 (Ti) draws all the power from the PCIE lane. No power connector necessary.

With exceptions! Like the EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW or the GTX750TI-OC-2GD5. But you are right, most of these cards don't require a 6 pin PCIe connector.
