GTX 680 output problem

Hi Guys, I posted here the other day and this is my last try for a solution before I RMA my 680 and buy a second one (because I can't wait 3 weeks without a GPU).

So I had dual monitors working for about three months and then I added a third via HDMI. The system froze, I hit the reset button, it booted with no display. I've since found that I can only get one display working via the DVI-I output. If I use a DVI-I to VGA converter I can always get a signal, if I use a DVI cable and I plug in another monitor to the HDMI port I get no signal on any monitors.

If I try to use the DVI-D, HDMI or DisplayPort I get no signal no matter what I do.

It just seems to me that it's not hardware related but I'm probably wrong.

Anymore help anyone could offer me would be greatly appreciated because if I do RMA I'll be spending about $50 if nothings wrong with the card in shipping and service fees.

Well the one thing that I could think of with this is drivers.

try re-installing all of the nvidia and chipset drivers for your 680 and motherboard

and hopefully it was just that

hope it helped!

I'll try to reinstall the chipset drivers, I've already tried a clean install of the nvidia drivers and nothing. I've got a second 680 coming today so I can see if it's the mobo or the GPU.

Thanks for the help!

Okay, seriously not happy now. So I got the second 680 and guess what? It doesn't *bleeping* fix anything. Each card has the same problem where only the DVI-I ports work. I've got a 680 running each monitor right now with the third one blank! So I'm going to motherboard now to post       :/
