GTX 670 Or 7970

What made me second guess the 670 I ordered that's on it's way is this http://imgur.com/HFAXNvg 670s only come in 2GBs should I get the 7970 3GB even though the 670 beat the 7970 in all BF3 tests, I am kind of scared that I may have to get a refund and buy a 7970, again I don't know too much about GPUs so should this be a big concern?

Note I want this almost only for BF4

BF4 is optimized for AMD, so the 7970 will easily beat the 670. I wouldn't worry about the 2GB of VRAM.

That's odd because the 670 beat the 7970 by 6 FPS in BF3?

BF3 was optimized for Nvidia.

And by easily I meant it will definitely beat it, not beat it by a ton.

Oh I see, hey do you think you can estimate how much FPS the 670 will get in BF4 maxed out at 1080p, I think around 50, but I am not the most knowledgeable person with GPUS

Probably around 60, but 50 would be the minimum.

I just looked at those before you posted 'em lol.

Edit: Those are from May of 2012, so newer drivers should have improved performance.

Sorry to keep pestering you, but is there a way you can cancel an order that is not yet in transit and get a refund so I don't have to wait until it gets here and ship it back to them?

Where did you order from?

Edit: you did say in transit, so I would assume that you would have to wait for the package to arrive and then send it back. You should check the website's policy though, to be sure.

Newegg

If possible to cancel, get the 7970. I'd recommend it over the 680, or even 770 (when overclocking, the 7970 is actually about on par if not better than the 7970 and costs significantly less)

Try that.

Depends on the game, I have the 770 and love it. But, if I was buying a GPU just for BF4, I would get the 7950 or 7970 depending on price.

Do you guys know anything about new egg and canceling orders?

I posted the link, but other than that, no.

Alright thanks for your help @nregner

No problem.

Don't forget if you go AMD your not gonna get the on-board physx that an NVIDIA card would have. If that is something that matters to you. And if your running a single monitor setup 2gb should be plenty.
