GTX 660ti vs Radeon 7950 (keep in mind the new catalst - 12.11)

Also please include a specific card - ie MSI Twin Frozr 7950 etc.

Hope someone helps you, I just upgraded to GTX 660TI 3GB's in SLI because of the lower power consumption and size.

I'm not going to outright recommend the card since msi admitted to overvolting them (isn't a real issue if you were going to OC) but the 660ti PE is the best option in that price range. In terms of general performance the 660ti and the 7950 are basically the same thing, the gap is between the 7950boost and the 670. If you were going to OC id grab a 7950 probably one with a twinfrozr if not the 660ti is your best option at that price point

Look at benchmarks for which games you play the most. On some games the 660ti just about rivals the 7970. And in other games the 7950 rivals the 7970. My referral would be for the 7950. As I look up benchmarks, it seems to do the best on high demand games. I.E. Crysis Warhead and such.
