but is the GTX 660 better then the HD 7870.
i want to play games and do normal things.

7870 is going to perform better but if you can get the 660 on sale that may be the way to go depending on the price.

If you can try to get a 7870 Tahiti LE edition. Its basacally a 7950 with a couple of stream processors knocked off and in 1080p gaming performs the same!
You can get a 7950 fro the same price as a 7870 LE right now, there's not really any reason to get an tahiti 7870.
That's fair, I was just throwing that out there if he could find one for a good price. I know there are some people that didnt know that there were two versions of the 7870.
well here in the netherlands the 7870 LE cost 250 euro.....
so it is like 80 euro more then the 7870.
and how much faster is the 7870 over the 660

well i´m also from the Netherlands and i can tell you a Radeon 7870, is arround €180/€200
You can get a 7950, for €228 euro on Alternate, its the Msi Radeon 7950 OC edition. thats a realy good deal in my opinnion.

a Radeon 7950 is realy worth the extra money in my opinnion, especialy the Msi OC edition, with free game for only €228
