I have a gtx 650 which runs my main monitor at 1920x1080 and an additional monitor at 1280x1024, i was thinking about upgrading to the evga 670 sig 2, and was thinking of running the additional monitor of my 650. is the 670 good enough to run three monitors in surround, as i was thinking of getting a couple more monitors in the not to distant future, and is it possible to run the two cards in the same system, i know they don't sli or anything i just want peoples opinion on will it work and is it worth it.
You might be able to get the 650 to be run as a PhysX card with the 670, but not much point to that. You will see a vast performance increase between a 650 and a 670, especially if you want to be doing surround gaming. If you wanted to run games at High and still get good fps while doing surround in games like BF3 or Crysis 2, I would suggest a 680, but the 670 should do pretty well in surround gaming.
The 7950/7970 Are also great for surround gaming.
