Gtx 260 core 216 sc problems

I got this card on December 14th

IT plays most of my games fine except for a couple those being

Gta iv

Crysis

and some others

in all those games i get way under the benchmarks some times be 40 fps somes time by 20

I have overclocked my cpu to 2.9ghz and nothing i do seems to work this these games

Especially Gta iv, it plays at 10 fps with updated drivers and everything

Is it my os? i get weird codes before the load screen, i cant read them they load to fast.

Protip: Record video of load screen. Watch video. pause at wierd codes.

Also, a lot of benchmarks are done with high-end Q9xxxs/i7s and 4+GB of RAM. I wouldn't worry too much.

Yea i understand that but the performance i am getting in comparison with theirs way lower

And? I have an exact same setup as MeGotRice when he did his 9800GTX+ benchmarking. He had 680i LT mobo, 4gb RAM, etc. But he had a Q66 and his benchmarks were like 20-30Fps above mine on an E7200

why do you have 64 bit os. It's really only useful if you have 4 GB or more of ddr. that might be your problem. if it is just go buy 2 more GB like [url=http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3089875&CatId=2264]THIS KIND[/url]

I'm using the same kind works great overclocks well.

yeah but it won't do nottin if you don't have 4 GB or more otherwise it's useless. I use 64 bit but I'm useing 6GB

Plus Who doesn't like using cheats and killing everyone. Also keep the resolution down low or it runs shit.

Yeh, 2GB is phail nowadays, u need at least 4+ GB.

hmm he is right.

When my Vista is "Idle" (Firefox open etc) It is using 38% RAM... And I KNOW what I have on my pc lol, im not running a bunch of crap in the background.

I am suprised that I have had this pc for so long (may 2008) and still havnt formatted it yet ^^ I dont want to install all those games and programs back on..
