And price to performance they still sick*. Just like any other Nvidia GPU.

Really? Looks like a pretty damn big boost in performance to me.

I guess you mean "suck" ?

At the end of the day a 1080/1080ti is an enthusiast GPU or at very least a very very high end GPU, and you NEVER get price to performance at that level, do you really think if AMD had the userbase or the performance to match they wouldn't price their stuff similarly?? Their stuff isn't cheap because they want to be nice, its because, AMD have a bad reputation/popularity and wouldn't sell without cheap prices

In some games yes, in others no. The 295x2 and the 1080 are sometimes echanging blows...
Has anyone noticed how the FuryX beats the TitanX at times?

few years later we still can't have nice thing...

Funniest graph of all:

well yeah its funny how you see

oh boi.

but oc seems like a lot for nv

isn't it like 290x ? runs hot, and loud. Non-ref cards will make a killing tho, especially Ti version.

Yeah that founders edition on air is not as cool as Nvidia claimed.
Arround 82°C on load, according to Anandtech.

look at hexus review, seems biased towards nv, i'm not sure how they got their review since no1 else has those temps. (always showing fury x on 4th place, and loosing even in battlefront)

It would be nice if someone had any performance numbers for linux. I have not yet found any reviews mentioning linux at all

Because the PC gaming community doesn't care for Linux as a gaming platform. New Tech is always finincky on Linux during the first few weeks.

What's a Linux? You will struggle for a long time, why have a flagship GPU with virtually no AAA titles to play

So NVIDIA was full of shit with the whole, 1080 is faster than 2x980?

Spot on!

they never said that, they said its faster or equal to 2x 980, which it is

I pinned this topic for a week, so that people could ask questions,
or post all information about the GTX1080 reviews and benchmarks.
To keep everything nice and centralized.

Seems like its around 30% faster than 980ti witch is still a nice upgrade, but the price is way off, 620 gbp or 6100 dkk.
they make it sounds like its a new architecture, but its still just Maxwell in steroids. looking forward to Polaris, i just want 390x/Fury performance for a lower power and price, and im all happy :)

Yeah I was expecting a bit less than that... 1070 it is for me ;)

I agree.
But interesting to see the scoring between the FuryX and the GTX1080 in ashes of singularity DX12 benchmarks.
