so my gta v started getting stuck every couple of seconds or so. it gets stuck and then goes back to normal and then gets stuck again. tried reinstalling with no effect. running on ultra/very high settings with vsync enabled. gtx 970 from msi using up about 2.5gigs of vram. the cpu is a 4690k so that isnt the problem. any ideas?

nope. but i do use self radio if thas any help
maybe try setting the video options to their default settings.
or put the graphics down to Low setting and see if it still happens.
I run high setting with 2xAA with my GTX970 Strix
ah ok. will do. i have a feeling its the self radio ive read up online and others have same problem
