Hey guys, while shopping around for a build for my friend, I created this great partlist and I thought i'd share it with the nice people at tek syndicate! This build will eat up most modern games at 1080p High to ultra settings. And as the title suggests, it is a great value! All the parts are on newegg so if your someone who thinks newegg is the Anti-Christ than don't get this...
Here's a quick rundown and list of the parts
CPU: Intel i5 3570k, a beast CPU for gaming and one of the best you can get
GPU: HIS Radeon 7970 GHZ edition, This has the same price as some R9 280xs yet it comes with 3 free games.
Case: Zalman z11, A very good case with the money, lots of features, looks good
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8gb, Corsair makes top noch ram, can't really say anymore.
HDD: Western Digital Black 1 TB. I have a Western Digital blue in my system and it runs great, black is going to better
PSU: Corsair cx 600, Corsair also makes solid PSUs,
MOBO: ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA, Quality motherboard since it's coming from ASUS
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Great Cooler for the price. I have it in my personal rig.
Links, now here's the fun part. Most of these parts come in a nice combo so that's about $50 savings!
Combo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1291151
Case:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161431
CPU cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161431
Total comes to $952 before the taxes (Damn you Uncle Sam!) so that leaves either some more money in your pocket, or some space to get say a beefier GPU or a sexier case.
Tell me what you think! I hope I helped someone today!
