The video is just a demonstration of this build

Looks pretty good, but I'd personally recommend getting Corsair Venegance 1600MHz 8GB instead of the PNY memory. It's faster, 2x more, and only costs an extra £10. (Also consider, the prices of these in the UK are more than it would cost in the US). This build on Amazon.co.uk came to £333~, which is about $450, so you can probably afford a few dollars extra for the RAM.

Still, a nice cheap gaming build :)

Try this. It will last longer and is more upgradable.

This is $298 minus the mouse and keyboard.. AND has room for upgrading later. The CPU is much better, and you can get a GPU later as an upgrade.

Looks like a getting by gaming pc to me.

Pretty impressive, that GPU is amazing for being so old! Now, make it even moar cheaper!

What resolution is that playing at?

My old 6670 overclocked like a beast and could run most high-tier games at medium settings at 1080p at 30-40 FPS. Very respectable for such a low price point!

All settings on "high", 1280x720 resolution, v-sync off, DX11, SSAO, no AA

FPS: Avg: 45 - Min: 30

where do you buy this motherboard at?

Isent the 2gb vershon ddr3 and not ddr5?

Enyway the card is not powerfull enuff to utilize 2gbs of vram in games it maybe helpfull if you what to run multiple monitors for a workstashon.

The A10 apu will be better you get a Much faster cpu with more cores and you whont be stuck with a 6 year old cpu.

oh yeah, it is, i geuss i missed that. out of curiosity how much higher performance do you get from a gddr5 card vs a gddr3 card? i know that its better to have the gddr5, but how much of an increase/decrease would you see?

since the 2gb version of this card is the same price, would it be better to use it? also would this rig be better/worse than using an apu?

Its around %5-10 faster(with ddr5) and haveing a card with 2gbs of ram that cant play at 1080p is pointless as you whont use anywhere near 1gb at 720p.

Its only heplfull to have extra ram at larger resolutions or if your useing more than one monitor

ahh, ok, thanks for explaining and answering other questions. i never knew that ddr3 cards couldnt play games at 1080p.

Also the parts list below then video says the card has ddr3 memory, so is this the card used in the video?

Ddr3  cards can play @1080p but a 6670 isent powerfull enuff to run at 1080p gameing wise.

The video shows gameplay @ 720p (1280x720 resolution) -thats a 18-19" monitor.

If you jump to the video on youtube you can see the specs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhodgjCdTcE

Its been run on a AMD Radeon HD 6670 1Gb GDDR5.

Entry level cards for 1080p gameing are the HD7770 or the 650TI.....But a HD7850 or A 650TI Boost are what i recommend for a good gameing experience at 1080p for those on a lower budget for example a $500-$600 dollar pc gaming build
