Graphics card not working in primary PCI express slot, please help!

Hi! Having some problems with my primary PCI express slot. My graphics card does not give out any signal in the primary slot but works absolutly fine in the second slot. What could be the issue, could it be broken, in need of any driver installs? I've tried updating my BIOS and i have tried reseting my profiles in the MOBO BIOS to defults aswell. The MOBO is quite new and it worked fine untill I put it on sleep mode and came back 2 hours later when I started it and got no signal.

My MOBO is the Asus rog maximus VI formula

you could try to do a complete bios reset, by using the clear cmos bottom, you could find that in the manual.If it still not works, then i have a very bad feeling that you need to RMA the board.
