Hyper 212 is a great heat sink for the price and supports the addition of a second fan if needed (I never did). It's much quieter than the stock cooler/fan.

Once you have your new kit set up try gaming using VSR on the R9 390 to render at 4K and down-sample to 1080p or 1440p for improved picture quality. This should better utilise the power of the 390 and give better results than regular anti-aliasing.

Right now is the perfect time to start overclocking then. If you're not upgrading to a 4k monitor setup then a 380 or 390 is more than enough, go with one of those and a better CPU cooler if you're not already running something that dissipates more heat than a 212EVO and start overclocking. Use something like AI suite's auto tuning to give you a basic idea of what your CPU can take then start doing small adjustments on your own.
