I have an EVGA GTX 760 ACX and I have been having some problems with it lately.
The temperatures are increasing every day and I'm getting worried, the hottest I used to see the card get was 68 degrees and now it's running at 84 degrees and that is with a temperature target of 60 degrees. I have tried everything moving my computer, cleaning the card and underclocking the card.
I would really like some help If anyone can help as I really don't know what to do, I would also like to point out that I cleaned the card incase the problem was dust build up but that didn't help at all and the ambient temperature has not changed at all, it has actually gotten colder where I live.
No screw should come stripped from the factory. Was the card in a new sealed box when you bought it? Some dodgy vendors try to pass of rma repaired cards as brand new.
In whatever case send it back or contact EVGA rma department directly - they're probably the the nicest mob to deal with returns.
Could be running hot cause of shit TIM, bad contact with the heatsink, pushing extra voltage somewhere, a dud gpu core, fans stuffed, & others. You cant check the TIM or contact cause of the stripped screw unless you void your warranty (+ possibility of damage) and drill it out.
