GPU Suggestions?

My brain hurts from all this deciding ._.

On one side, I have the Radeon HD 7950. I really like this card, but is there a big difference between this and the 7970?

On another side, I have the 660 non-ti. If I choose this one, should i get the ti?

I have tons more to choose from, to.

I do some pretty major gaming at 1920x1080.

Buy the 7970 if you can, but if you can't, the 7950 is a great card.

Do you already have the 7950? If you do, why get a new graphics card? Get another 7950 and CF that baby!

between the three you listed. Don't get Nvidia.

Can you qualify that argument NJM1112? You may have sensible reasons for the suggestion, I would just like to know what they are - as would many readers. I think it is important to explain why we make the recommendations we do (based on objective evidence), as I'm pretty sure that is in the spirit of the whole Tek Syndicate/Razethew0rld experience.

Anyhow, generally I would agree with NJM1112 that the AMD cards are better this time around - when you look at the benchmarks the performance at any given price point is consistently better.

If you need CUDA for one reason or another then go for at least the GTX660Ti, which is a very nice card (though as I have mentioned expensive for what it is when compared side by side with the AMDs).

The 660 is an inferior card to the 7950, and definitely to the 7970.
