Should I get two gtx 660s, or one HIS IceQ Turbo Radeon HD 7850. I'm trying to keep this build under $1,000.
hmm the reviews im looking at say that 1 GeForce 660 is pretty much equal to 1 7850. So getting two 660's would definately have better performance.

Do you mean 7950, as one 660 costs more then a 7850....let alone two 660 cards?????
If you mean 2x660 or 1x7950, then id get the 7950
if you mean 2x660 or 1x7850, id go for the two 660
Would the two 660s work on an AMD build, build than one 7870?
If you have a high enough wattage psu, go for the 660 sli
What wattage would you reccomend?
I'd get at least a decent 600W PSU for 2 660s. But I'd try getting a 7970 or 680 or 670 instead
