I had a diamond radeon HD 7850. it suddenly stopped outputting to any display. I sent it back and got a refund. I couldn't uninstall the drivers because i couldn't see anything so if i get a new GPU, will it output and work properly ?

If you have a intel CPU, go into your bios and switch the display over to that. If you don't, when you get a new gpu it should run in like 800x600 and you can get the drivers then
