Got my CPU at a semi-local shop. MSY.
I got the 3900k on a Gigabyte Aorus Elite Wifi. I’m very happy so far with the motherboard minus a couple of things. I didn’t look closely enough at it and it only has two fan headers + cpu fan header. Thankfully, I already had a fan controller so it wasn’t a big deal. My only other worry is that there is only an 8 pin connector to power the CPU. Since I don’t plan on overclocking I don’t think this will be an issue. However, I got this board because there was a recent bios update to the ABB bios so that should be great.
I’m still waiting for ram and new gpu before trying passthrough. Once I get everything working I will report back how things go, as well as some photos of the new rig. 
Just an update here. So ended up getting 3700x and either due to latest BIOS update or due to new CPU. I can now passthrough not only the USB but also Audio.
This is awesome. Now I am able to take that extra pcie slot and passthrough HBA for freenas to make myself a nice All in one beast.
