I have a Msi Gtx 660 Oc and lately my games have been "lagging". Im not too sure if its lag or a drivers problem or what. But when i play a game called Smite (Free Moba) it freezes, go's to black screen, then comes back. Same thing with Skyrim but it doesnt resume the game. It crashes and says "Graphics Display Drivers have Crashed and Recovered"
I have my fan speeds at 100%, No Overclocking, and I recently cleaned it. I need help on maybe solving this issue! I re-installed my drivers (R331 Game Ready). I use Msi After Burner and the GPU Usage it says 100% after the game crashes! But the thing is my GPU shouldnt have any issue of running Skyrim nor Smite at 1600x900 at High/Ultra. I turn of AxA and shadows because they usually are a FPS killer.
Start+R > type regedit > go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers > new qword(64 bit) > TdrDelay as the name and hit enter > 2x click on it and add 8 for the value data > exit & restart.
Here is the link for more information and a tool that does all the above though I suggest you do it yourself in case you will not find the topic after a future OS reinstall.
