GPU is hitting 80 degrees on some games

Hey guys. I recently built my PC earlier this summer but we've been having a hellacious heat wave here in Southern California the past few weeks. Anyway, I loaded up GTA4 EFLC and played some Lost & Damned. Now right now, its about 97 degrees outside, but I have a big fan in my window hoping to cool the room down.

Anyway, I have an XFX 7870 Black Edition, and while playing L&D, it went up to 80 degrees Celsius today. Doesnt seem too hot, but then I converted it to Fahrenheit and it said 176 degrees...holy crap is the first thought I had. Should I be worried? I have a CM Storm Enforcer case. Nothing in my computer is overclocked by me(IDK if the black edition GPU overclocks itself or not).

So should I be worried?

Totally normal for an XFX card. The heat sinks are pretty....well.... crap on them.

So as long as you don't OC the card, it'll be fine.

80.c is fine but don't overclock you gpu it should be fine.

Ok thanks guys. To be honest, I have no idea how to even overclock it...so no worries there. Hopefully it'll cool down in my area soon...
