Received a GTX 280 waterblock used today. Â The seller sent me pics of it before I bought and it was pretty tarnished.
So I coated it in ketchup and polished her up. Â This is what she looks like after an hour of ketchup massaging.Â
What do you think?
Now I'm just waiting to recieve some thermal pads in the mail (which are coming tomorrow) until I install this beast!

Mother eff' BFG. Â 2 screws are friggin' stripped and it's preventing me from installing this waterblock. Â Nothing a dremel and a drill can't handle

And alcohol does the job well. Well rubbing alcohol that is, don't start pouring jack daniels on it.. lol
Or paint remover, reaaaally strong shit, do not inhale if you don't wanna feel like you just ate 9000 bad mushrooms. Same as isopropanol. Also, it dries out your fingers : 3 no biggie.
