I have installed my gpu properly but the graphics card is on a bit of a lean on the side away from the back of th case I have put the srews in properly and it's in the socket properly but silts still on a lean and this might damage my pci port so has anyone had this problem or have any ideas why?
also I have a gigabyte 7970 my case is the thermaltake RXI and my motherboard is the As rock extreme 4 z77

I haven't used it yet , basicall you place it between your graphics card and the bottom of your case and it supports it.
it's normal and not likely to damage anything, but adding a backing plate would most likely help if it's worrying you
