I can't seem to run Arma 3 with my current 550 Ti. For my future upgrade, i hope to play on playing on medium to high settings, 1080p, at 60fs. Will this be possible with a 760 or would i have to spend more money for a 770. If I go with the 770, I might have to wait a year before I can afford it.

Hmm, I would say go with a 770. Or wait for a 760ti? Also Arma is very CPU dependant, have you tried overclocking?
Well the parts I litsted are currently being shipped. I am expecting to be able to overclock the shit out of them. I am curently running this:
Processor: AMD Phenom X4 9550
Motherboard: Jetway HA07-ULTRA
Ram: 5gb mix and match miracle
Graphics: Nvidia gtx 550 ti
The crappy processor will only overclock fron 2Ghz to 2.222Ghz.
As for the 550 Ti, Nvidia hasn't even hinted it and in their current line up. If it takes a year, I might as well go with the 770. I am just impatient and want to be able to play this game in all of its glory.
Well when you get that new CPU you should see a huge performance increase!
*Just an update: I went from 8 fps multiplayer in minimal settings to 45 on medium with a 550 Ti. Very much satisfied. I can wait for Maxwell.
