Gpu fan making weird sounds

Hello, so i've hdd my Gigabyte r9 390 for about a month or two now, and it's been working fine up until last night. The right fan (Since there are 2) is making weird rattling noises. If the fan speed goes under about 63% then it starts to rattle. i can maybe record it and upload it to youtube or something if that would help. But as soon as i speed it up above 65% it works perfectly. It's not too much of a problem except at night when i'm just watching youtube or something that requires little gpu power and i have to deal with this somewhat loud background noise of a fan blowing. or just having the computer be loud in general

I've also tried turning the pc off completely and manually spinning the fan. The left fan (as assumed) makes no noise at all, running smooth as butter. Although the right one (if i spin it opposite) makes a rattling noise, and when i spin it normally, makes a really bad screeching sound, almost like the fan is against something and grinding and causing a high pitched sound.

I've got no idea what to do, so if any of you guys have an idea. I'm all ears. Thank you!

i would look into Getting an RMA for your GPU since its probably still under warranty.

If you just want a fix i would go with an after market cooler.
Maybe an H110 with a G10 Mount + thermal pads and heat spreaders for the V Mem

maybe even one of these

Make Sure These options are absolutely compatible with your Video Card before you buy them.

My thought is that either my pgu is either off balance and causing it to make the sound, or maybe a loose or dry bearing. But that's just my thoughts, and i don;t know much

also replacing your cooler will void your warranty

I think i'd have to talk to gigabyte since the store i got it from has a 2 week policy (which is stupid) Although if i don't get any other responses or it doesn't fix itself soon, i might have to contact some people and work on a replacement.

But thank you for your response!

Your welcome, anytime. It really sounds like it is defective from the factory. I have seen large fan Gpu's Go for at least 7+ years without making any noises at all. The oil from the factory should cover it for its life span. You might want to check for broken fins or maybe a slight wobble. This would tell if the card had been mishandled.

I've looked around at it, and unless there's something that's meant to stand out, the fan itself looks in good condition. I really do think it's something internally that is off and causing the noise. I guess i'll post back when i've either found a fix or contacted someone. But really, thank you for all your help

(At least i won't have to deal with this again since next gpu i'm definitely going with water cooling
