GPU edge connector slightly warped

As the title says on my new graphics card, the edge connector where it plugs into the pci-e slot is slightly warped if you look down the side it looks like its curved. So my concern is whether or not it will still work. Any help or input is appreciated. thanks.

Have you put the card in and tried it? You can still RMA a card after putting it in your system you know.

Go ahead and put the card in your PC and run some benchmarks and see if there there is anything weird.

I am sure it will work fine.

I would but this is my first system so i dont have all the components to build it yet

well...I don't think you can RMA a card unless you know for sure it is either dead, or causing serious artifacting. Graphics cards end up with a warped PCB after a period of time anyway from the weight of their cooler pulling them down. As long as everything on the card is intact, and there isn't any obvious damage, I wouldn't worry about the bent PCI connector. If fact, once you install it in your computer and get it latched down it will probably straighten the card out.

ok cool, thanks for the help :)
