Gpu death imminent or game has bugs?

I've bought Assassins Creed brotherHood, becuase i was unwilling to drop $60 on Dishonored; It started an itch for that particular kind of gaming. I usually play games with multiplayer emphasis, because: 1) I get bored easily and, 2) game has shelf life (especially if it has mod potential) Games like: Halo, bf3, Planetside, Torchlight2.

So I have a good system with the exception that I'm constantly paranoid of my gpu Blitzing on me when it has an occasional canipshin fit. Most of these seem to go away when upgrading or downgrading the graphics driver. Of course the reason I'm paranoid about my 560ti is becuase its refurbished. Got $100 discount on it. The gpu never had a blue screen of death until i bought this "old" game.

So, how do i know if its the game, the driver, or the gpu? latest gpu driver is 306.97, I am using 306.23 which is stable for the most part, But i prefer 304.xx ( no issues with that version; Using 306.23 for Planetside 2 beta)

My system:

  1. Antec 300 Illusion
  2. asrock z68 extreme 3 gen 3
  3. refurbished PNY gtx 560 ti fermi 1gb gddr5 sli support ready
  4. corsair enthusiast tx750 80 plus bronze certified
  5. intel corei5-2500k sandy bridge 3.3 ghz
  6. g.skill ripjaws series 8 gb 240 pin ddr3 sdram ddr 1333 ( should i upgrade? and to what?)
  7. seagate barracuda 1tb 7200 rpm Sata 6.0gb

Lastly, and admitedly completely off topic. Should i use external flash drive in ready boot or 64GB ssd to utilize ssd cache?

Many thanks, Megadove

readyboost is a joke, unless you ahave a really shitty pc. go for the ssd.

and the gpu?
