So I need some advice if I damaged by gpu to put my mind at rest?
So I benchmark using unigine valley 4.0 and the highest settings. So when I benchmark I set my (Msi R7950 Boost OC) to some pretty high clocks such as 1100/1575. Now obviously I only set it to that when benchmarking because it brings the temp way up and it's quite unstable.
So after benchmarking I clicked reset in msi afterburner this brought it back to 960/1250 and clicked apply so I started playing Titanfall and i crashed which is really weird cause I never crash. So it would not let me do anything so i had to hold down the turn off button and force shut down. So i played titanfall again and same thing happened had to reshut down. SO the third time I noticed some wierds temps it was hitting the 78 degrees and usually it doesnt go past like 72. I was like what? maybe i forgot to reset in msi afterburner but I checked and nope i had reset the clock speeds. So after a while of figuring things out and going in unigine valley and it telling me the gpu is on 1100/1575 apperently Msi afterburner derped out and was not working until i restarted it ( It never actually reset the clocks). So my main question is do you think all those driver faliures or crashes or whatever, caused damage to my gpu??? Don't overclockers experiance crashes when their overclocking to so it doesn't damage the gpu?
Sorry for the long post
