Wunderlist is a pretty neat one I found recently. Basically you type, "Grocery shopping on Saturday" and it'll mark down the day and just put, "Grocery Shopping." It'll also do times and reminders.

This one is pretty cool as well. You can add the next two weeks of events to your Notification Bar. I use it for reminders like, "Pay Phone Bill" "Pay Rent" etc. Also, it's good to make use of the calendar for bill dates. I used different colored labels for each one in the calendar.
