GoPro 4 Silver or Sony RX100

I'm looking for a new camera. These where the two that met my criteria. The price is roughly the same where I live.
What should I buy and why?
-I shoot alot of film.
-I have no problem using the RX100 because I have been used to the size.
A local store has the GoPro 4 Silver on sale for 200£ while the RX100 costs 240£.
I'm just on the fence because I take a lot of pictures and I'm not sure if the GoPro is as good as the RX100.

What do you need/want to do with it?

How much do you want to spend?

Are you planning on using it for video or mostly pictures?

I edited the post right after I posted it but I must have forgot to to press save.
But I skateboard a lot so I guess the GoPro would be more practical but I just don't now if the quality is good enough.

If you're skating, go gopro. They're designed to take a beating, that RX100 won't be. Just be careful with the LCD.
The gopro's fine video quality wise.
Just search "Gopro 4 silver edition" on YouTubes to see what you can get out of it.

Fully agree. The GoPro is designed to take a beating and get thrashed around. It may not have as high of video quality but it's actually really good..
