My phone asked for an update the other day. Wouldn't let me use any app without it. After I install the google update it gives me a pop up saying the terms of service has changes and this is what I read.
Google gets full access to your phone. They can control:
- Turning radio/wifi on/off
- Take any info from your phone at any time
- Turn data usage on/off
- Turn camera/mic on off
- Access to all txt messages
- Access to all contacts
- The ability to makes calls/send txt from your phone
- Location
- Updating your files
- They can share this info with whoever they choose
And the list goes on, these are just most of my pet peeves I guess.
Are we supposed to be ok with this? If I don't like it should I be picking up a blackberry?
