So I'm scrolling through the news paper, i found this article about Google being Racist? I'm like okay, what was so racist?
I've come to the conclusion that people are BORED with their lives, and need to do find something productive to do.
Apparently if you use Google Maps and type in "Nigga House" or "NIgga King" it gives you a description of and picture of.. let me hit the drum roll really quick....

Yes the white house. the home of MURICA's 44th President Barack Obama.. or Barack "Homie Quan" Obama (if you get the reference)
Lord have mercy on us all. with the racism we are dealing with in MURICA' (Nope not America) with Police Brutality, African Americans being murdered in custody, Gun Laws, all a bunch of non-sense that makes me more and more scared of Humanity in the near future. We as americans need to have some unity.
but back to the matter at hand, Google has apologized for this matter and has corrected this already
Also if you tried using Google Maps and typed in "Nigga University" you get a picture and address of Howard University. (this has also been fixed)
Thoughts on this? in all honesty i didn't believe it till i actually tried it this morning and sure enough it came up. and when it came up. the "Asshole" in me bursted out laughing (Don't worry i know i'm going to hell) but at the same time, It's really messed up to even think about. Glitch or not, or Intentially done or not.
I think that is pretty funny because it is quiet ridiculous and very certainly just done bored individual at Google doing something very inappropriate.
What has been going on with Google lately? It seems like Maps just keeps having problems. Wonder if it's actually somebody IN Google or if its somebody who go INTO Google.
The search engine uses user information and searches to perfect its searches. That is why people can easily spam search suggestions to the top. People are referring to the white house as the nigga house or whatever, so then when people search it, that is what they get. Don't blame google for the internet. People do that all too often.
Most of the racist-esque searches were not just with the white house. there were a few. Even searching up "Nigga" university brought up Howard University. it was more than just the white house results. BUT the white house one was much more disturbing and in my opinion the funniest result.
Yeah. Google gives suggestions based on user input (mostly). When weird racist suggestions pop up, it's because weird racist users are typing that stuff in more than likely. It's nothing new with Google. It's been a meme for about as long as google has existed:
